Channel Frequencies
Follow instructions to manually input frequencies for individual channels using your SKY remote.
These steps will need to be followed to add additional channels.
- Press Services.
- Press button no. 4 twice.
- Enter the frequency number then move down to the next line.
- Press right or left arrow to change polarisation letter.
- Move down to next line.
- Change the symbol rate by pressing the right or left arrow.
- Move down to next line.
- Change the FEC by pressing the right or left arrow.
- When all entered correctly move to the next line "find channels" and press select.
- A list of the channels will appear, press the yellow button on the remote to tick the channels you want to store.
- When all channels are ticked that you would like to store, press select twice.
- Now you should be back on the frequency page.
- To view the channels you have stored, press services, select other channels and select a channel of your choice.
- The channel will then appear

Re-Boot Procedure
Follow the Re-Boot procedure to re-find your signal using your Sky remote control:
- Press services at the top right hand side of the remote.
- Press button no. 4
- Press button no. 0 then no. 1
- Press select
- Press button no. 2
From the top of the screen:
- Type in 12.129
- Press the down arrow to move to the next line
- This should read V if not press the right or left arrow to change.
- Press the down arrow to move to the next line
- This should read 2/3 if not press the right or left arrow to change.
- Press the down arrow to Save New Settings and press select
You will now be on the previous menu. Press the Sky button at the top to come out of the menu. The date and time should appear in the bottom. When Searching For Listings has cleared you can key in a TV channel.
Sky + Factory Reset Guide
To correct certain faults on new Sky+ boxes such as:
- Stuck in standby
- Unable to record
- Loss of IF on input 2
It is possible a Factory Reset process may cure the problem.
- Switch of the mains
- Hold in the Left and Right navigation buttons. Switch on the power and keep the buttons pressed in for about 30 seconds until the green play light comes on.
- Press select
- The Play light will then rotate clockwise while the resetting procedure takes place. This may take up to three minutes.
- It then reverts back to standby.
- Leave the machine for two minutes while the hard drive reformats.
Please Note
The machine will lose all stored programmes if this process followed. The CAI cannot be hold responsible if this process fails in any way.
